Tuition Rebate Program
The Texas Tuition Rebate Program offers eligible students up to $1,000 in tuition rebates as an incentive to complete their bachelor’s degree efficiently, minimizing courses outside the degree plan. Here are the key eligibility criteria:
Residency: Students must have been Texas residents and paid resident tuition for the entirety of their degree.
First Enrollment: Students must have first enrolled in a higher education institution in Texas during the Fall 1997 semester or later.
Coursework: Students must complete a first bachelor’s degree without exceeding three credit hours beyond the degree’s required minimum. This includes transfer, repeated, and certain other coursework but excludes credits earned before high school graduation or through qualifying exemptions.
Request Timing: The rebate must be requested at the time of graduation.
Additional requirements may vary slightly depending on the institution. For more details, you can visit College for Texans.
